Our body is our first home.

Now we seek shelter and comfort through the domestic space, softening and shaping it with fabric and touch. My practice investigates the relationship between body and cloth, finding parallels in the delicacy and strength that reside in both. As a multi-disciplinary artist, I favour a dynamic, three-dimensional portrayal of the visceral human, engaging with the more ambiguous internal forms that house within us. My use of fabric is significant materially and contextually, acting as a celebratory act for the many women who were seen through a singular lens of 'women's work'.
